Scented candle N°VI: as in the Paris address, 6 rue de Budapest, where the Maison MARC-ANTOINE BARROIS has been established since 2013. This candle blends refinement and authenticity. It offers a leathery, spicy framework of the B683 fragrance with the amber accord and smoothing out the smoky notes here and there.
 
Scented candle N°XIII: as in the Paris address, 13 Galerie Véro-Dodat. A cocoon. A candle, like the memory of the refuge of a child’s hut. This candle offers reassuring notes of wax, honey, and incense, blended with the woody undertones of sandalwood and guaiac.
 
Scented candle N°IV: as in the London address, 4 Piccadilly Arcade. This candle is an invitation to the elegant fantasy of an English family straight out of a children’s tale like Alice in Wonderland or Peter Pan. Carrot flowers, lavender, and iris are the ingredients of this slightly surreal candle.
 
For our candles, we have chosen a wax 60% natural and 40% mineral, palm oil, and GM free, so we take advantage of both waxes: the natural one returns more fragrance when cold and the mineral one when hot. Also, this mix reduces a lot of soot emissions. Last, cotton wicks have been sized so they allow a regular burning of the candle.
 
The fragrances of the Maison MARC-ANTOINE BARROIS are the result of the meeting of two young designers. One is a couturier, the other a perfumer. Their childhood memories brought them together. Remembering captivating smells; of the leather from an elegant attaché case or an immaculate desk blotter; of the distinct smells of wood during the regular gather-ring of fuel to warm the family home. The artistic skills of the former and the olfactory talent of the latter together sparked the magic of these beautiful fragrances.
