Encased in molten gold and infused with precious Agarwood, Silky Woods is the aptly named debut fragrance in a new luxury collection called the Botanical Series by Goldfield & Banks.
Showcasing the precious wood species harvested sustainably for the first time in perfume history in the Daintree Rainforest in Tropical Queensland, Silky Woods is a delightful and delicate yet very sensual blend that captures Australia's sensorial experience.
To a modern sillage of suede, exotic vanilla and smoky tobacco leaves, Goldfield & Banks has added refined essences of saffron, incense, ylang ylang and native sandalwood.

The result of this new creation is the scent of a voyage in search of Australia’s ultimate olfactive treasures, a voyage that is reminiscent of botanist Joseph Banks’ first visit to Australia in 1770. There he discovered exotic botanicals formerly unknown to science, in the same way Goldfield & Banks founder Dimitri Weber has made it his mission to laud Australian native ingredients since he launched his luxury fragrance house in 2016.
A modern day explorer of scent and sensuality, Weber was transfixed when he visited Agarwood plantations in the nation’s tropics. Mesmerised by the complexity of planting techniques and the sustainable methods applied to harvesting and extracting the precious and unique oil, he forged a friendship with the growers in Far North Queensland.
